Found a variety of fungi that I had never seen before ❤️? Does anyone know what the name for these are? They’re so pretty! Like ornate vintage buttons… Loved our forest walk today despite very few mushrooms to be found, too cold I suspect. Ever since I was a kid, I loved lichen and moss, they made the world more magical with their delicate beauty. As an adult I love them them more while having learned of their usefulness for the world;they provide ethereal landscapes and visuals, and knowing that they are nest building materials for Anna’s hummingbirds make them even more special.
