A close friend of mine and I went to go shop at Victoria Secret this afternoon, as a treat to each of ourselves.
Now, I’m great at shopping for others, whether client or friend, but when it comes to shopping for myself, it drains me dry; my least favorite is lingerie or swim wear shopping, as it takes he most amount of time.
With it being both of our first time in the store, I had thought maybe it would take us 1.5-2 hours max. I was wrong.
This store is like Las Vegas; the staff agreed when the conversation came up. Massive, spread out, a lot of collections, overwhelming amounts of scents, and bright interior lights and no daylight, which have you clueless as to what time or day it is or how long you’ve been there. I checked my watch upon leaving the cashier, it was 5 o’clock, a whole 3 hours had gone by. We both have brain mush, and agreed to not do this again for a very long while, but we do have lovely lacy treats for ourselves.
